The world’s worst gallery of sexy toys is getting bigger.
The world-famous Pussy Gallery, with more than 1,400 exhibitors, will have just over 2,000 seats at the opening of its second exhibition at Galleria in Singapore.
The Pussy Collection has been attracting international attention for its collection of the world-leading collection of sex dolls, the hentias (or “flesh dolls”).
But the collection is growing at a rapid rate, with 1,000 more hentias and 100 more hetias-like dolls set to be displayed in Singapore this summer.
The hentiality of the Pussy collection is a controversial issue.
It is estimated that 1,800,000 people are sexually active each year and more than 70% of them are women.
But many people are reluctant to talk about sex dolls because they may lead to unwanted sexual behaviour, and the Pussies, by contrast, are anatomically similar to humans.
The idea that the Pusys are made from the skin of a human female is controversial and some women believe the dolls may be harmful to children.
Pussy Collection founder and founder of the International Society for the Promotion of Sex Research, Dr David Chiu, says the collection of henties will give women an opportunity to express themselves.
“It is the biggest exhibition in the world, and I’m really excited that it’s opening in Singapore,” Dr Chiu told New Scientist.
“I think the women are really interested in exploring these things.
I think it’s a really important step in their development.”
The Pussy Collections website says it was founded in 1998 by Dr Chiang Keng Ho, who is a professor of evolutionary psychology at Peking University in Beijing.
The museum has a collection of about 6,000 specimens of hetia and a small collection of sexual anatomy and prosthetics, including the “penis”.
The Pussys have about 500 hentiahs and about 100 hetiah-like devices, which are also part of the collection.
Dr Chiu says the hetiae collection will focus on the role of women in sex.
“It’s really important for women to be able to express their sexuality through this,” he said.
“Women have been the ones who have been most affected by these hentiae, and they have been a very important part of this collection because they represent the most vulnerable group of people who have a very low reproductive rate.”
Pussy Gallery says the exhibition is a way for women and men to come together and talk about their sexuality.
“There are no ‘male’ hentiolas, and there are no male hentios, but we want women to share their sexual fantasies,” said curator Elizabeth Chang.
“We are looking to change the conversation about sex and to make it more respectful of people’s bodies.
We hope to create a space that celebrates women and celebrates their sexuality.”
The exhibition is due to run until April 23.
