Posted October 08, 2018 05:00:54A former F2 team manager who worked in the team’s grand prix team offices, and who was also a member of Ferrari’s Grand Prix Management team, will be at the forefront of a showcard arena for the Melbourne Cup and Australian Grand Prix.

“We’ve had a really strong response from F1 fans, and I think it’s really important that people realise that it is the best possible venue for the grand prixy,” he said.
“This will be the first grand prixi that we’re putting on, and we’re looking forward to getting the venue built and hopefully opening in 2018.”

Fernando Alonso will be one of the first to attend the grand final at Melbourne Stadium.
He has made the grand-final in each of the past two years and is one of F1’s most successful drivers.
Fiat Chrysler Automobiles chief executive Sergio Marchionne will also be at Melbourne.FOM boss Mauriziano Arrivabi has also worked in F1 and will be part of an F1 grand prio team.
The grand prixia team at Melbourne will consist of a mix of Ferrari drivers, as well as McLaren team principal Ron Dennis and former team boss Guido Pagnini.
The F1 teams management is expected be chaired by Formula 1 boss Bernie Ecclestone, who will remain with the organisation through to 2020.
Farrell is a former Formula 1 driver, and his role at F1 has not changed much.
“He has always been an important figure in the F1 family, he has always had his own team,” Ghosna said.
“We are very grateful to him for all his work.
He has been a very important figure and we are very happy to be able to welcome him to Melbourne.””
