The carmel automotive company, which is set to launch its own electric car in 2019, is aiming to offer a range of battery packs that are “compatible with the world’s most popular electric vehicle batteries”.
The carmel car is aiming at the Nissan Leaf electric car market, with an estimated global market value of around US$2 billion (€1.9 billion).
The company has a factory in Girona, Spain, which produces battery packs for Nissan’s electric vehicle.
The company plans to produce more battery packs in the future, with a target of producing 40 per cent of the vehicles’ battery cells by 2020.
The company, in a statement on Thursday, said the carmel product line would “be compatible with the global automotive market, including EVs”.
The company said it would offer its own range of “low-cost battery packs” with an expected price range of between US$1,500 and US$3,500 per unit, and would sell them at a lower cost than competitors.
“The carmelon car will be compatible with all the major electric vehicle battery makers,” the company said.
The car has already proven to be a winner at the UK market, where it is competing against Tesla and Nissan in the battery car market.
Its range of electric cars has already surpassed that of any other carmaker.
Carmel, founded in 2014, is the world leader in electric car batteries.
It sells its own battery packs, as well as a range made from the technology of lithium ion batteries, as part of a range called the Carmel Electric.
The Carmel range is a mix of Li-ion and Lithium-ion battery packs.
It has also developed an electric powertrain called the L5 Powerpack that is based on a combination of lithium polymer and a lithium metal alloy.
The Carmel line of electric vehicles are being built by a consortium including Mitsubishi Motors, Nissan, and Renault.
The Nissan Leaf, the Nissan LEAF Electric, and the Leaf C range are among the companies to have launched their own electric cars this year.
The cars have attracted a range-extending feature that allows the owners to charge their batteries via USB, with no need for plugging them into a wall outlet.
Carmel says it will introduce charging stations across the world in 2018.
“Carmel will continue to innovate with this technology, which will be part of our future product development,” it said.
It has also been one of the most profitable car companies in the world, with sales in the first half of 2020 being $5 billion.
